The University of Florence provides you with a network of student tutors ready to guide and support you at any stage of your academic journey. Depending on your needs, you can rely on different types of support:

• Orientation Tutors: if you need assistance with welcoming services, help in getting oriented at the beginning of your academic career, or information about your study program.
• Academic Tutors: if you encounter difficulties in specific subjects, these tutors offer supplementary activities and support to help you pass exams and continue your studies successfully.
• Inclusion Tutors: they provide dedicated support for students with disabilities, specific learning disorders (SLD), incarcerated students, or those coming from third countries and refugees.
• Well-being and Psychological Support: through the Psychological Health Ambassadors, the University promotes well-being and offers support to address psychological distress.
• Internationalization Tutors: tutors are also available to support international students and those participating in study-abroad mobility programs, as well as to promote all the international opportunities offered by the University, such as the European Alliance EuniWell.

Who are the tutors?

Orientation and academic tutors are students enrolled in Master’s degree programs and PhD candidates who support you throughout your university career.

What does an Orientation Tutor do?

• information on student services and enrollments;
• support for e-learning activities;
• support for the compilation of the study plan;
• information on orientation and job placement;
• information on cultural, educational and recreational opportunities offered by the University.
