First-year students must submit their study plans. This is done through an online procedure activated  according to a calendar defined yearly and available on the School of Science Web Site.

The Study Plan must meet the requirements of the M.Sc. and are subject to verification by the Teaching Committee.

Students can request modifications of the Study Plan submitted, through the same online procedure or an urgent modification request at the student secretariat, if needed (this is done in case the Thesis defense is scheduled before the June exam session of the succeeding calendar year).

Students taking exams abroad via the Erasmus mobility have to submit a customized study plan, agreed with the International Mobility Delegates.

Students are encouraged to contact the Delegates for more information, suggestions or to discuss possible study plans.

Students can insert in their study plans, for covering the 12 free credits,  every course provided by the University provided that it is consistent with the Master Degree. Anyway, study plans that satisfy the following requirements will be automatically approved:

• the plan contains all mandatory courses and activities;
• the plan contains 3 courses among those in the list of computer science optional courses (SSD INF/01 and ING-INF/05);
• the plan contains 2 courses among those in the list of related-topic optional courses ;
• the plan contains 2 courses among those in the list of free-choice published each academic year, containing all optional (computer science or related ) courses possibly enriched with further courses fropm other Master Degrees.
